The Football Association & Plans for Enfield

The Football Association  has appointed consultants (Knight Kavanagh Page) to produce football development plans for every Local Authority area, including Enfield, in order to develop priorities for investment in football facilities over the next ten years. Funding will be available to invest in agreed priorities. The plan will be developed in line with the Playing Pitch Strategy and the Local Plan and will focus on 4 key areas: 

·         3G pitches;
·         Improving grass pitches;
·         Improving clubhouses/pavilions;
·         Recreational football.

I am meeting with KKP on Thursday 11th April at 4pm, to discuss key priorities for the borough.

Could you please let me have any comments you might have ahead of the meeting and preferably by close of play on Wednesday. Sorry about the late notice but the meeting was only confirmed earlier on today.
