Enfield Council meetings

SP advised that he had had a positive meeting with Paul Everett, who had overall responsibility for sport in Enfield. PE is keen that Enfield Sport takes on a more proactive role in developing sport in the borough as Council resources reduce over time. SP raised a number of concerns with PE including lack of replies from the parks service and the lack of financial support to the Scorpions Basketball club.

SP would try (again) to set up a meeting with Cllr Daniel Anderson. SP

8 Planning for the AGM in December 2017

SP said that he was hoping for nominations to be put forward for the Secretary and Vice Chair roles at the AGM.

MS suggested that a Membership Secretary role be created, to reduce the burden on the Secretary. SP said that he would talk to Bernie Kelly about whether he would be interested in taking on the Membership Secretary role. SP
MS proposed that a Marketing role should be created. This can be raised at the AGM.

9 AOB

MS advised that the "Park Life" project was progressing well at Bull Lane, with support from Haringey Council. He was keen to understand Enfield Council's position (SP letter to MW, covered above, will help in this regard).

HW asked if he could attend any meetings that SP proposes to have with Andy Higham (re: planning issues).
LC said that the Bowls clubs would be considering whether to introduce a loan system for lawn mowers.
