1 Welcome / Introductions  
Simon welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked HW/Winchmore Hill Sports Club for hosting the meeting.  
   
2 Minutes of the last ES Executive Committee  
Old Totts site taken over by British Allevi Association, Simon has had a discussion and is generally supporting. SP
Harold to contact Perkins insurance re possible sponsorship. HW
Enfield council meetings - kind words, positive comments but not able to do much. SP
Harold is being chased to find out what is happening at Firs Farm. HW
   
3 Planning for the next Enfield Sport General Meeting  
Last Executive meeting was in November 2017. A couple of planned meetings have been cancelled since then. However, the AGM took place in December 2017. SP
Date of next General meeting: 17th July 2018.  
   
4 Finance and Bank Account update  
£667.39 bank balance.  
No identified items to purchase.  
   
5 Membership update  
Affiliations are slowly being received.  
A short discussion took place as to how to stimulate response. Simon will write to clubs to promote and encourage. SP
   
6 GDPR  
SP said that he had met with James Rolfe, a member of Enfield Council's senior leadership team and the senior officer with responsibility for financial matters. SP raised two main issues: his request to be given a chance to comment on the draft Playing Pitch strategy (JR agreed he should be given a copy of the draft document) and the financial support that was needed to kick-start the development of Basketball in Edmonton. BK
   
7 Enfield Playing Pitch Strategy  
Enfield Council have approved a “Playing Pitch Strategy”.  
Simon is disappointed not to have been consulted before publication despite organising meetings and making requests to discuss with council representatives.  
Having expressed disappointment Simon has been invited onto a steering group. SP
There is no mention of Bull Lane in the strategy.  
Need to make sure the Protection commitments re repeated in the Local Plan. SP
   
8 Enfield Leisure & Culture Partnership meeting  
Simon unable to attend, can anyone take his place. SP will email round meeting details. SP
   
9 AOB  
Enfield drill hall was under threat, Sue Rodell doing a good job, need a lease extension, Simon meeting in the next month with the council to help persuade the Council that they should extend the lease SP
Simon to try to meet Nesil Calistakan council leader. SP
   
10 Date of next Executive Committee meeting  
Wednesday 26th September at 7.30pm.
